Catholic Schools Week
Next week is Catholic Schools, and every day we will be celebrate different people who help make our Catholic schools the wonderful and amazing place for all students to learn and grow in their education and faith. Below is a schedule of events:
Grandparent's Day
The last day of Catholic Schools, Friday, 1/31, is Grandparents Day. All grandparents are welcome to come to school at 10:00 am, join us for mass, and then return to our classroom for some fun. If your student doesn't have a grandparent able to attend they are welcome to bring an aunt, uncle, family friend, and anyone else who loves and supports them. Someone they'd want to share their school with!
12:10 pm Dismissal on Friday, 1/31
Grandparents Day is also a 12:10 pm dismissal. If your student is going to after school care please make sure to pack them a lunch.
What We're Learning...
Math: divide by 6, 7, 8, and 9; determine unit cost
ELA: irregular plurals; generalize; singular and plural pronouns
Religion: the Good Samaritan; what are sins of omission; how to love our enemies
Science: how animals grow and change in life cycles
Social Studies: tribal governments; the relationship between tribal governments and the federal government
